Pair hit by vehicle after crashing theirs

Two people were injured Saturday in a wreck at 6:20 p.m. on Highway 248 at Farm Road 1195, six miles east of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Janet Campbell, 56, of Branson, was driving a 2007 Honda CRV eastbound when her vehicle lost control and struck pedestrians Cleo Robbins, 73, and William Robbins, 77, both of Jenkins, who were exiting their vehicle after crashing on the right side of the roadway.

Cleo Robbins suffered moderate injuries, and William Robbins suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Campbell was not injured.

Campbell was wearing a safety device, and the Honda was totaled.
