Butterfield Firefighters and its auxiliary members helped make a Christmas toy drive a huge success.

Laci Lynxwiler, auxiliary secretary for the Butterfield Firefighters, accepts a Christmas toy donation from Donovan Mikesh on Saturday during a toy drive at the Butterfield Fire Station, sponsored by Blazi Lowe and her family, and auxiliary members of the BFF. Mikesh is the grandson of Butterfield Firefighter Travis Clark. Lowe said she was happy with the result of the drive. "I hope the presents will help my friends who are spending Christmas in a hospital bed and give them something to do so they won't be bored," she said. Julia Kilmer/reporter@cassville-democrat.com
