Muriel Lee (Campbell) Brunner
Muriel Lee (Campbell) Brunner, 77, of Shell Knob, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cassville.
She was born Jan. 16, 1939, in Benedict, Kan., the daughter of Paul Prentice and Harriette Muriel (Anderson) Campbell. On Dec. 31, 1970, in Lisbon, Ill., she was united in marriage to Thomas Lee "Tom" Brunner, who survives. Additional survivors include: three sons, Kent Myers and his wife Marcia of Edgerton, Kan., Mark Brunner and his wife Renee of Clarksville, Tenn., and John Brunner and his wife Taylor of Brock, Texas; two daughters, Julie Maxheimer and her husband Max of Springfield, Ill., and Betsy Carter and her husband David of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Lou Campbell and his wife Janice of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Carol Hutchison of Arkansas City, Kan., and Pauletta Tallman and her husband Don of Costa Mesa, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
For several years, she was employed as a trainee supervisor for Illinois Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of Shell Knob First Baptist Church. Graveside services were held Friday at High Prairie Cemetery in Altoona, Kan., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Shell Knob. Pastor Bob Gaddis, of Shell Knob First Baptist Church, conducted the services.
