Cassville students participate in Red Ribbon Week

Cassville Intermediate students recently participated in a 'Red Ribbon Week' assembly. The Middle School Band shared a performance at the beginning of the assembly, and the cheerleaders lead students in chants. The theme of the assembly was "Life is Full of 'PAWSibilities' Drug Free. Local author, illustrator and science educator, Heno Head, Jr., shared many of his science experiments with students to impart lessons about resisting peer pressure and having confidence to students. Cassville fifth-grade students McKenna Hagins, Kaylynn Wilson, Chaney Cox, Hailey Meeks and Sophia Wyman were chosen to read their essays at the assembly.
