Christie Moore, 69, passed away on Nov. 13, 2016, at her home in Rocky Comfort. She was born on Oct. 4, 1947, in Wellington, Kan., daughter of John C. Jr., and Frances J. (Warren) Moore. She grew up in Wellington and graduated from high school there. She was a hairdresser for more than 30 years, and owned and operated her shop called Wild Hair Ranch. She attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pineville.
Survivors include: her father, John C. Moore Jr., of Wellington, Kan.; one son, Treavor Smith, of Oxford, Kan.; one daughter, Heather Wilson and her husband, Jim, of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Julie Langton, of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Doug Moore, of Emporia, Kan.; four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Pineville and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville.
There will be no scheduled public services. A private Celebration of Life Service will be held for the immediate family in the near future.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville.
