Lucille "Ritzy" M. Martin, 84, of Reeds, formally of Carthage and Cassville, passed away on Friday, Nov, 18, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born on Jan. 8, 1932, in Wilder, Kan., daughter of Raymond and Agnes (Elmer) Oakes. On June 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Edward "Bud" Martin; he preceded her in death. She worked at Fasco Industries for many years.
Survivors include: two sons, Eddie Martin and his wife, Roma, and Dennis Martin and his wife, Jeanette, all of Cassville; three daughters, Leandra West and her husband Kenneth, of Reeds, Brenda Mann and Della Mae Stouder, both of Cassville; one brother, Paul Oakes, of Uvalde, Texas; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Rocky Martin and two sisters.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, with Pastor Jim Clay officiating.
A private family burial was held at Mineral Springs Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
