Pet of the Week

Meet Squattels, the Haven of the Ozarks pet of the week. This pretty girl has been waiting at the Haven for her family most of her seven years. At a young age when most dogs would be adopted, Squattels was quite a handful. Her exuberance tended to scare away potential adopters. However, as she has gotten older, she has the perfect energy level. She's still fun-loving and likes going for walks, but she now has good manners and is easy to handle. Squattels loves people of all ages, but can be picky about her dog friends. She has had a best dog friend who was a female, and currently has a male best friend. It's hard to tell who Squats will like and who she won't, so it would be best to bring potential doggy siblings for a meet-and-greet before taking her home. Even better, choose both Squattels and her best friend Brom, because they make an adorable pair. You can meet Squattels, or any of our 100 other dogs, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. any day of the week, or call 417-835-3647 for more information. Also, please be sure to check and like our Facebook page for more featured pets. Contributed photo
