Caleb Tanner Clere
Caleb Tanner Clere, 20, of Cassville, passed away on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout. He was born on Dec. 7, 1995, in Tulsa, Okla., son of Brad Clere and Tracy (Jones) Buntin. He was a 2014 graduate of Cassville High School and attended College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout majoring in history and theatre with the Jones Theatre Company. Caleb was an active member of Act One Collegiate Players and was a member of the cast of "Railway to Heaven", which he performed in for the last two years, as well as traveled to Europe with the Company. He was a camp counselor for the YMCA, volunteered at the Barry County Museum, and participated in Royal Family Kids Camp and the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy for three years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville.
Survivors include: his mother, Tracy Buntin and her husband, Caleb, of Cassville; his father, Brad Clere and his wife, Joanne, of Winslow, Ark.; three brothers, Tyler Clere and his wife Kayle, of Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, Wash., Jacob Clere, of Point Lookout, and Silas Buntin, of the home; two sisters, Savannah Clere and Elizabeth Buntin, both of the home; paternal grandfather, Charles Clere of Bristow, Okla.; maternal grandparents, Freddy and Georgia Fryar, of Cassville; two aunts, Cindy Ontiveros and her husband Ray, of Coweta, Okla., and Kelly Markwardt and her husband Tommy, of Tulsa, Okla.
Memorials can be made to the College of the Ozarks Theatre Department-Act One Collegiate Players Club and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24 at the Cassville First Baptist Church with Pastor James Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the White Funeral Home & Crematory, 196 Sale Barn Road, Cassville.
