The Cassville High School (CHS) business and agriculture departments were awarded the Career Technical Education Enhancement Grant through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The grant is a 75/25 percent-ratio matching grant that must be used to purchase improved technology for the classroom over $1,000. With the funds, the departments purchased 25 computers, 10 ipads, a smart projector, color printer, copy machine, six laptops and additional electronic curriculum. Melanie Grossman, CHS business instructor, and Jimmy Hinson, CHS agriculture instructor, collaborated to submit the grant and secure the funds and equipment for their respective departments.
