Robert "Shorty" Ennes
Robert "Shorty" Ennes, 88, of Seligman, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016. He was born on Sept. 4, 1928, son of Mel and Nancy (Phillips) Ennes, in Mineral Springs. On Jan. 27, 1958, he was united in marriage to Rosia Lee Ball in Miami, Okla. He was a life-long farmer. He was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church, and for the last three years he attended Corinth Baptist Church with his family.
Survivors include: his wife of 58 years, Rosia Lee, of Seligman; one daughter, Sherry Kelley, of Seligman; three sons, Bobby and his wife, Ann, of Cassville, Eddie Rose, of Yakima, Wash., and Jeffery Rose, of Goldendale, Wash.; one brother, Mick Ennes, of Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Barbara Hendrix, of Washburn, and Lois Champine and her husband, Bob, of Ceylon, Minn.; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Greg Ennes and Lynn Rose, two brothers, one sister, and one great-grandson.
Graveside services were held Saturday at Ennes Cemetery, Cassville, with Pastor Donnie Spears officiating.
