Motorcycle hits motorcycle on Hwy. 248 in Jenkins

Two people were injured on Saturday in a motorcycle-on-motorcycle collision at 11:20 a.m. on Highway 248 in Jenkins.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brent Boudle, 50, of Ozark, was driving a 2008 Yamaha Road Star westbound and was stopped in traffic when his bike was struck from behind by a skidding 2003 Harley Davidson, being driven by Stedan Pitt, 52, of Lebanon.

Boudle, along with a passenger on Pitt's bike, Anne Pitt, 36, of Lebanon, each suffered moderate injuries. Boudle was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, and Pitt was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Stedan Pitt was not injured.

All involved were wearing safety devices, and both motorcycles suffered extensive damage.
