Tjuana "Jean" Sparks

Tjuana "Jean" Sparks, 67, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, in her home.

She was born Aug. 21, 1949, in Pyatt, Ark., the daughter of James and Ella Mae (Crabaugh) Burns. On June 2, 1967, in Seligman, she was united in marriage to Allen Sparks who survives.

Additional survivors include: her mother, Ella Mae Burns; two sons, Charles Sparks and his wife, Stacey, of Neosho, and Chris Sparks and his wife, Kyndra, of Cassville; two brothers, Howard Burns and his wife, Jackie, of Exeter, and Edward Burns and his wife, Donna, of Seligman; three sisters, Patty Denny and her husband, Gordon, and Mary Gabbard and her husband, Sherman, all of Seligman, and Donna Sue Hutchens, of Cassville; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She graduated from Southwest High School in Washburn. She worked at Justin Boot Factory. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Graveside services were held Sunday in Russell Cemetery, Butterfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Bob Burns conducted the services.

Contributions in her honor may be given to the American Heart Association.
