Cassville buses take children home, district has good start

Wednesday, September 7, 2016
A long line of Cassville school district buses made its way along Main Street toward the square after the school day Thursday to take children home. With 25 school buses in its fleet, and 19 daily routes, the big yellow buses travel thousands of miles transporting children back and forth not only in the Cassville area, but to rural communities such as Shell Knob and Golden. Other than everyone learning their new routines and schedules, Richard Asbill, superintendent for the district, reported that the district has had a great start to the new school year, and parents, teachers and children seem ready to return to their school routines.
