Teens injured in Hwy. 39 wreck
Vehicle hits culvert, mailbox south of Madry
Two teenagers were injured Sunday morning in a wreck at 8:30 a.m. on Highway 39, three miles south of Madry.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Connor Sullivan, 17, of LaRussell, was driving a 2007 Jeep Wrangler southbound when his vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and mailbox, then overturned.
A passenger in the vehicle, Sarah Field, 16, of Golden, suffered moderate injures. Sullivan suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Both were wearing safety devices, and the vehicle was totaled.
