Jackie Jean Samuel
Jackie Jean Samuel, 82, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, in Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cassville.
She was born Sept. 29, 1933, in Ripley, Okla., the daughter of Johnnie and Mildred (Kelly) Neeley. On May 8, 1958, in Winfield, Kan., she was united in marriage to Dwight Samuel, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Douglas Samuel, of Springfield, and David Samuel, of Cassville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Nile Neeley and a daughter-in-law, Kristine Samuel.
She grew up in Oklahoma and graduated high school in Shawnee, Okla. Fifty years ago she moved from Fort Hood, Texas, to Cassville, where she was co-owner of SW Heating and Cooling. She had been a member of Cassville United Methodist Church for 50 years and worked in the nursery 45 years.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Cassville United Methodist Church, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Andy Lambel will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Cassville United Methodist Church.
