2 motorcyclists injured in wreck
Couple avoids vehicle, crashes north of Shell Knob
Two Aurora residents were injured Tuesday in a wreck at 5:40 p.m. on Highway 39, seven miles north of Shell Knob.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Terry Parker, 50, and Melissa Parker, 47, both of Aurora, were riding northbound on 2010 and 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycles, respectively, and attempted to avoid a collision with a vehicle that pulled into their path, causing both motorcycles to run off the right side of the roadway and overturn.
Both Terry Parker and Melissa Parker suffered moderate injuries, and both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Aurora.
Both were wearing safety devices, and both motorcycles suffered extensive damage.
