Anyone is welcome to the table, not just seniors

If you haven't eaten at the Center or if it's been quite a while since you have, we encourage you to come on by and give it a try. These meals are prepared daily by our own head cook, Rebecca and assistant, Rita. In addition, volunteers come in daily and help serve and prepare. You won't find a better meal anywhere (maybe not even at home). The portions are beyond generous; the salad bar is extensive, and desert is included. Beyond all that, coffee and tea are available.

If all that doesn't tempt you, how about a suggested donation of $3.50 for the meal and desert? Donations are also accepted for the salad bar, coffee and tea. While compliments are appreciated, tips are not expected, and unlike at home, you don't have to do the dishes here.

Some people have commented they thought the Central Crossing Senior Center lunches are only meant for people who can't afford a good meal elsewhere or at home. This is definitely not true! Whether you are wealthy, poor or somewhere in-between, CCSC lunches are meant for you! It's a great place to come on in out of the elements, eat a delicious meal, and meet new friends or reconnect with old friends. Even if you're not a senior (60 or older or married to someone 60 or older or are disabled), you are still welcome to come in and enjoy for a slightly higher price.

We hope to see you here soon. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and menus are posted on our web site at www.centralcrossingseniorcenter.org as well as on Facebook. If you haven't already done so, please like us on Facebook at Central Crossing Senior Center.
