James "Billy" William Lomax, Jr.
James "Billy" William Lomax, Jr., 56, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was born on Sept. 19, 1959, in Wichita, Kan., son, James Lomax, Sr. and Carol Levick. He was a graduated from Cassville High School and later joined the U.S. Army. He was an over the road truck driver for many years, recently working for IWX Motor Freight in Springfield.
Survivors include: one son, James Sequoyah Lomax, of Aurora; one daughter, Jamie Lomax and her fiancÚ Ramon Barrientos, of Butterfield; his mother, Carol Baughman, of Cassville; one brother, Almond Church, of Berkshire, Vt.; five sister, Madonna Sparks, of Cassville, Debra Davidson, of Groton, Vt., Jackie Richer, of Colchester, Vt., Gloria Sweet, of Sheldon, Vt., and June White, of St. Albans, Vt.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Kip Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the White Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Jamie Smith officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
