REGAL associates honored upon retirement

Regal Beloit America, Inc. employee, Thomas "Tom" Witt, began enjoying her retirement Feb. 2. He had been with the Regal since 1984. He plans to spend time on projects at home and feels his wife will "find something for me to do." He also looks forward to relaxing and working in his wood shop. Contributed photo
Richard Rider, an employee of Regal Beloit America, Inc., celebrated his retirement Jan. 29. He had been with Regal since it opened as Fasco in 1975. After 40 years, Rider said he is looking forward to not having any plans and being able to do whatever he wants each day. He plans to do some gardening and spending time outdoors. Contributed photo
Kenneth Balmas celebrated his retirement from Regal Beloit America, Inc., Jan. 29. He had been with Regal since 2002. Balmas said he plans to start constructing and painting more than 130 model airplanes he has acquired just for this purpose. He also said he hopes to enjoy time in his woodworking shop and working on an antique tractor. If he seems to lack anything to do, Balmas said his granddaughter would likely be able to find something to keep him occupied. Contributed photo

Weston said she plans to spend time visiting family in Texas and get a few excursions in with her sister. She also looks forward to spending time with her grandchildren and hew new great-grandson.
