Linda Thomas, 71, of Cassville, passed away in her home on Saturday, July 9, 2016. She was born on Nov. 8, 1944, daughter of William and Thelma (Lawrence) House, in Cassville. She was a 1962 Cassville High School graduate. On Sept. 4, 1964, she was united in marriage to Clyde Thomas in Butterfield. She was a member of Gunter Methodist Church in Butterfield.
Survivors include: her husband of 51 years, Clyde Thomas, of Butterfield; one daughter, Tracy Poole and her husband, Tom, of Jonesboro, Ark.; Three grandchildren; one brother, Kenny House and his wife, Carol, of Cassville; and one sister, Pat Allison and her husband, Floyd, of Cassville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Todd Alan Thomas and Bobby Ray Thomas; one granddaughter; and five brothers who all passed away during their infancy.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that memorial contributions be made to the Gunter Cemetery and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Gunter Methodist Church in Butterfield, with Pastor Jerry Nickle and Pastor Mike Tharp officiating. Burial was at Gunter Cemetery.
