Albert Howard "Cotton" Maloney
Albert Howard "Cotton" Maloney, 95, of Cassville, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, in Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born June 28, 1921, in Eagle Rock, the son of Arthur William and Hattie Mae (Farrington) Maloney. On June 22, 1974, in Cassville, he was united in marriage to Roxie Jane (Anderson) Hall who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents; a stepson, Gary Hall; four brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include: one stepson, John Oliver Hall and his wife Margaret of Galena; one stepdaughter, Barbara Ellen Phillips and her husband Larry of Cassville; two brothers, Estell "Shorty" Maloney and his wife Dottie of Cassville, and Lloyd Maloney and his wife Wanda of Liberty; nine step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
He was a life-long resident of Barry County. He worked in broom corn fields in Kansas for a while and then was employed for Don Brock, clearing right of ways for phone and electric companies. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Funeral services were held Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville.
