Marvin A. Mitchell
Marvin A. Mitchell, 64, of Washburn, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1951, son of Johnie and Della (McCallister) Mitchell, in Jacksonville, Ill. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Marines were he served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include: his father, Johnie Mitchell and his wife Eleanor, of Washburn; three brothers, Lloyd Mitchell and his wife Ok Cha, of Collinsville, Okla., Dean Mitchell and his wife Janet, of Millington, Tenn., and John Mitchell and his wife, Beverly, of Washburn; three sisters, Della Watts and her husband Joe, of Broken Arrow, Okla., Caroline Sadr-Momtaz, of Cassville, and Jacquline Litchfield, of Springfield; and two step-brothers, Roger Wright, of Claremore, Okla., and Larry Wright and his wife Jean, of Washburn.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Della Mitchell and two brothers, Jerry Mitchell and Melvin Mitchell.
A private family burial will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Okla.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville
