38-year-old facing 3 felonies after alleged domestic dispute

A Pea Ridge, Ark., man is charged with three felonies after a domestic assault in Washburn on Sunday.

Jonathan Singer, 38, of Pea Ridge, Ark., is charged with first-degree assault, felonious restraint and armed criminal action.

According to a probable cause report filed by Deputy Christopher Hutson, with the Barry County Sheriff's Office, Singer allegedly was intoxicated and assaulted the victim by choking her to the point of losing consciousness. He then physically assaulted the victim while she was on the floor, then went outside, retrieved a cast iron skillet and struck the victim with it in the face and head.
