Arkansas man airlifted after four-wheeler wreck

2 arrested following collision on Farm Road 1135 in Eagle Rock

An Arkansas man was injured Sunday in a four-wheeler wreck at 6:40 p.m. on Farm Road 1135 at Farm Road 2275 in Eagle Rock.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Caleb Kelley, 23, of Bella Vista, Ark., was driving a 1997 Yamaha four-wheeler eastbound when his vehicle collided with a 1997 Suzuki four-wheeler, being driven eastbound by Randall Kelley, 55, of Bella Vista, Ark. The collision caused Caleb Kelley's vehicle to overturn and eject him.

Kelley suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Randall Kelley was not injured.

Neither were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles suffered minor damage.

At 7:20 p.m. and 8 p.m., Caleb Kelley and Randall Kelley were each arrested for driving while intoxicated. Both have been released.
