Ridge Top holds first week of camp

About 15-20 campers registered for the camp, which has overcome several obstacles since last fall, including funding, obtaining supplies, finding staff and getting permits, to reach the goal of opening. Camp Directors Bill and Brenda Bennett, who recently moved to the Barry County area from Versailles, said they wanted to give children an opportunity to hear God's word within a fun summer camp environment. Several young campers appear to already be having a great time before the first day of camp even started on May 23, on the grounds of Ridge Top Bible Camp in Ridgley. The camp's first week includes a day-camp for younger campers which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Camp Directors Bill and Brenda Bennett saw almost 20 young campers sign up.
