Aurora man injured in wreck near Shell Knob

Vehicle overturns on Hwy. 39 Monday evening

An Aurora man was injured Monday in a wreck at 6 p.m. on Highway 39, four miles north of Shell Knob.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Robert Mattingly, 56, of Aurora, was driving a 2003 Buick Century northbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.

Mattingly suffered minor injuries and was transported to Cox Monett Hospital.

He was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.
