Miss Missouri visits Exeter students

Exeter Elementary students received a treat when Miss Missouri, Kensie Garber, came to visit the school last Wednesday and talk to them about character through her platform via the Miss America pageant. Students Peyton Rayburn, sixth grade, and Kahlan Crough, first grade, assist Garber with her presentation. Garber spoke about respect, responsibility, courage. Exeter Elementary students received a treat when Miss Missouri, Kensie Garber, came to visit the school last Wednesday and talk to them about character through her platform via the Miss America pageant.

Miss Missouri, Kensie Garber, calls on a student to answer a question during a presentation she made to Exeter Elementary students last week. As part of her position, Garber speaks to groups about her platform of character, and in her presentation to students, she spoke about respecting others, being responsible and having courage. Garber said she travels 1,000 miles per week and traveled 50,000 miles in the last year as Miss Missouri providing service and speaking to groups. Julia Kilmer reporter@cassville-democrat.com
