Pet of the Week

This week's pet of the week at the Haven of the Ozarks is Searcy, found as a stray and too terrified to be caught. As it turns out she was also a mama. It took quite some time, but she was eventually brought to us along with her babies. After several months she is no longer scared or shy and would really love to find her forever home. Searcy has good leash and house manners. She is also excellent with other dogs. Searcy isn't comfortable with small children, so she should only be adopted to a home with older kids or only adults. It has taken a while, but this girl who had such a sad life and such a bad experience with humans now looks at people as friends. She will be a wonderful, loving, devoted companion. All Haven pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Searcy will always have a home at the Haven if placement is not successful. Those interested in adopting Searcy or another pet can call 417-835-3647, visit thehaven.petfinder.com or on Facebook. Contributed photo
