Farmers' Market open

Wednesday, April 13, 2016
Sherry Greenway, of Greenway's Acres, puts pumpkin muffins and chocolate and peanut butter treats in a bag for a customer Saturday morning on the square during Cassville's Farmers' Market. Greenway was also selling homemade breads and cookies, farm fresh produce grown from non-GMO seeds that are pesticide-free, and fresh eggs from pasture-raised chickens. Albert Wolfe, back, market coordinator, sold homemade breads and pastries, farm fresh eggs, and will be also offering fresh produce later in the season. Although the mornings have still been a bit cold, and rather windy, vendors are still coming out since the market's grand opening on April 2. Sometime after May 31, vendors will also be available with their wares Tuesday afternoons on Sale Barn Road. Julia Kilmer reporter@cassville-democrat.com
