Cassville Walmart Assistant Manager Tim Wilkens puts his hat back on after getting dunked on Saturday in the lawn and garden area of the store. Management held a Race for the Cure fundraiser for breast cancer at the store from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a goal of raising $5,000 for the Susan G. Komen campaign. Assistant Manager Laura Brown said the dunking was one of several fundraising activities management had been doing since March to raise the money by the end of April. As of Saturday, $4,500 had been raised. There was also a bake sale outside and hotdogs being sold for $1. Julia Kilmer firstname.lastname@example.org

Cassville Walmart Assistant Manager Laura Brown prepares to throw a ball to dunk fellow Assistant Manager Tim Wilkens at a fundraising event Saturday inside Walmart's lawn and garden section. The dunking event had several Walmart managers taking their turn at getting dunked in water that was definitely not room temperature, as mischievous coworkers dumped bags of ice into the tank. It was all for a good cause though, as the activity helped raise money for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure campaign for breast cancer. As of Saturday, the management team, which has been fundraising since last month, had raised $4,500 toward its $5,000 goal. Julia Kilmer email@example.com
