Claris King, 84, of Bentonville, Ark., formerly of Cassville, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, in Bradford House Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born Nov. 13, 1931, in Carr Lane, the daughter of Efton and Bessie (Bowlin) McCullough. On May 15, 1950 in Berryville, Ark., she was united in marriage to TJ King, who preceded her in death on June 24, 2014. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Paul, Olen and Dayles McCullough and one sister, Martha Standlee.
Survivors include: one son Michael King, of Bentonville, Ark.; and one granddaughter.
She spent most of her life in Barry County prior to moving to Arkansas three years ago. For several years, she was employed as a lead line operator at Fasco. She and her husband also farmed and she had worked for Justin Boot for a while. She was a member of Blessing Heights Worship Center in Cassville.
Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Carroll Williamson conducted the services. Burial was at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Cassville.
