4 injured in Hwy. 76 wreck

Vehicles strike head-on east of Cassville

Four people were injured Wednesday in a wreck at 10 a.m. on Highway 76, two miles east of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Alejandro Roman, 17, was driving a 2000 Ford Mustang eastbound when his vehicle made a left turn into the path of a 1994 Toyota pickup, being driven by Lesa Fancher, 49, of Cassville. The vehicles struck head-on.

Roman suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Fancher and two passengers, Chance Henson, 20, of Cassville, and Kelly Marcucci, 18, of Cassville, each suffered minor injuries. All three were transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville by private vehicle.

All involved were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles were totaled.
