Leonard L. Day
Leonard L. Day, 60, of Cassville, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Cassville Health Care and Rehab. He was born on May 4, 1955, son of Lloyd and Loretta (Goldsborough) Day, in Cassville. He was a 1973 graduate of Exeter High School and a lifelong resident of the area. He worked for Fasco Industries for 38 years before retiring. On Nov. 7, 1975, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Duncan, and to this union two children were born.
Survivors include: two daughters, Stephanie Vanzandt and her husband, Kirt, of Seligman, and Rachael Dirks, of Centerton, Ark.; four grandchildren; two brothers, DeWayne Day and his wife, Irene, of Exeter, and Bruce Day and his wife, Robin, of Exeter; and four sisters, Linda Wyatt and her husband, Tony, of Mount Vernon, Jeanette Winchester, of Tampa, Fla., Sandra Schreiner and her husband, Edgar, of Aurora, and Lisa Jacobs and her husband, Dennis, of Cassville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Friday, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Bob Day officiating. Burial followed at Mineral Springs Cemetery.
