Fletcher helps youth enjoy love of building at Lego Club

The group was started three years ago by Kara Fletcher, who wanted to share her love of building with children. The club has grown from a small group of children to over 40 now in attendance. On March 12 at 10 a.m., the group will celebrate another birthday for the Lego Club and Dr. Seuss. Upcoming Lego meeting dates include March 12, April 16, May 14 and June 11. Lego Club founder Kara Fletcher helps a participant build something out of legos at the Eagle Rock Community Center Saturday. Since the group started three years ago, it has grown in size to more than 40 children in attendance. The group meets once a month and focuses on helping children enjoy the art, love and creativity of building things with legos.
