"We've watched some game film on Seneca and they're scary," Milleson said. "They don't look flashy, but they play with tons of heart and effort. You really can't coach heart."

Milleson said the Wildcats are tinkering with their pregame preparation, hoping to increase focus.

"The coaches and I had some concern about getting ready for games [mentally]," he said. "We had decided to makes some changes and see if it helps our overall performance."

The Wildcats' regular season concludes on Tuesday with a trip north to Monett.

Milleson said he hopes that the rivalry can become the best basketball game in southwest Missouri.

"Our goals are to raise our program up to the level where all of our games are must-attend events," he said. "Monett has a great team this year, and we know that our fans will follow us anywhere. We plan to show up and give our very best effort."

Tipoff for both contests is set for 7 p.m.
