Lady Tigers earn No. 4 seed
Exeter girls play for season on Saturday
The Exeter girls basketball team has its season on the line in the win-or-go-home Class 1, District 4 tournament at Point Lookout on Saturday.
Hurley (14-9) earned the No. 1 seed; Bradleyville (20-4) is the No. 2 seed; School of the Ozarks (11-11) claimed the No. 3 seed; Exeter (5-17) is the No. 4; New Covenant Academy (8-12) earned the No. 5 seed; Chadwick (5-16) was voted the No. 6 seed; Niangua (2-22) secured the No. 7 seed; and Lutie (1-15) fell to the No. 8 seed.
Exeter and New Covenant open play at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by Bradleyville and Niangua at 1 p.m.
Hurley and Lutie tip at 3:30 p.m., followed by School of the Ozarks and Chadwick at 6 p.m.
The Bradleyville-Niangua winner and School of the Ozarks-Chadwick winner advance to a Monday, 4 p.m. semifinal.
The Hurley-Lutie winner and the Exeter-New Covenant victor meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the other semifinal.
The championship contest is set for Feb. 25 at 6 p.m.
