Exeter boys earn No. 8 seed, play Saturday

The Exeter boys basketball team enters the Class 1, District 4 tournament at Point Lookout with some work to do.

The Tigers (1-22) earned the No. 8 seed and play No. 1 seed School of the Ozarks (21-3) at 4:45 p.m.

Hurley (16-9) is seeded No. 2 and entertains Niangua (1-21) at 2:15 p.m.

No. 3 seed Bradleyville (15-8) faces No. 6 seed Chadwick (3-20) at 7:30 p.m.

New Covenant Academy (7-15), the No. 4 seed, and No. 5 seed Lutie (7-14) square off at 11:30 a.m.

The winner of the School of the Ozarks-Exeter match and New Covenant-Lutie contest earn a semifinal matchup on Monday at 8:30 p.m.

The winners of the Hurley-Niangua and Bradleyville-Chadwick contests meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

The championship game is scheduled for Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
