Show choirs, student acts, wow community

Two performances were featured Friday and Saturday evening, which served as a fundraiser for the choirs, which compete during the school year. The No Boys Allowed (NBA) singers from Cassville High School wowed the audience Friday night at the FEMA Event Center with a medley of songs, including 1980s hits "Jessie's Girl," "Oh Mickey" and others.

Cassville High School student Drake Thomas belts a powerful rendition of "A Change is Gonna Come" during the show choir's performance at the FEMA Event Center Friday night, which featured 14 individual student acts and performances by the all-girls show choir, and Centerstage Show Choir. The annual fundraising event, which is in its sixth year, featured student performances Friday and Saturday nights. Students also served their guests popcorn, desserts and drinks.
