Chamber to host annual banquet Jan. 30
Event will feature unique entertainment, dinner, decor
The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual chamber banquet on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. at the First Christian Church Faith Center.
The chamber board has decided to host a more non-traditional banquet with surprise entertainment that will feature local young talent.
"I am excited to work with our board," said Wade Hermansen, incoming Chamber president. "We will keep our focus in making the chamber a relevant tool for our members. We are looking to develop new platforms that will promote the community and its businesses."
In addition to special entertainment, the event will honor individuals and businesses that have made a significant contribution to the Cassville community. The chamber board plans to award Business Beautification awards, a community service award and recognize outgoing chamber board members.
"We encourage everyone to attend the 2016 banquet," said Michelle Bredeson, outgoing chamber president. "We will keep the focus on Cassville and how it's a great place to live. It will be a night of food, entertainment, and giving acknowledgment to local businesses and individuals."
Attendees will enjoy a dinner catered by John Sullivan and the Cassville Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Club, and décor by Accents-n-Tents.
Advanced tickets are $20 per person at the chamber office, located at 504 Main Street, or $25 at the door. A drawing will be held for centerpieces donated by local businesses. All who purchase a ticket will be entered into the drawing. Limit one door prize per household.
Businesses interested in donating a centerpiece should contact the chamber.
