Wednesday, December 16, 2015
Exeter Elementary school children Lily Stevenson, left, Mason Lee, back, and Whitney Beck, work on painting Dutch shoes during the after-school program Friday. For the last five weeks, the students have been learning about Christmas traditions in different countries around the world. Other items they have made include lanterns from Japan, pinatas from Mexico and advent wreaths from Germany. This week, they will be making gingerbread houses as part of American culture.
