Exeter students celebrate Christmas traditions

Wednesday, December 16, 2015
Exeter school children, from left, Zach Myers, Noah Jordan, Isabelle Donovan and Joe Beck, proudly show off the Dutch shoes they each created and painted during the after-school program. For five weeks, students have learned about, and made, traditional Christmas items around the world, including Japanese lanterns and German advent wreaths. Next week, they will be making gingerbread houses to represent a mix of German and American culture. The tree behind them is decorated with some of the symbols of each country and culture.
