Mr., Miss Merry Christmas candidates named at Cassville High School

Wednesday, December 9, 2015
Cassville High School recently announced the names of its Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas candidates. The holiday contest is a long-held tradition in which candidates fundraise for the Share Your Christmas organization. The male and female candidates who collect the most money are crowned Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas. The coronation takes place at an assembly on Dec. 18, the last day of school before Christmas break. The contest also gives students an opportunity to work with businesses and local organizations to give back to the families in the community. All donations stay local to help families in need during the holidays. Back row: Logan Carlin, freshman candidate; Drake Thomas, senior candidate; Collin Pearman, junior candidate; and Issac Dodson, sophomore candidate. Contributed photo
