Exeter woman injured in Butterfield wreck

3 sent to hospital, including 5-year-old boy

One Exeter resident and two Seligman residents, including a 5-year-old boy, suffered injuries in a wreck on Saturday at 12:40 p.m. on Highway 37 in Butterfield.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Taylor Eagan, 20, of Exeter, was driving a 2000 Honda Accord westbound when her vehicle failed to yield at an intersection and was struck by a 2012 Nissan Rogue, being driven by Jobi George, 41, of Seligman.

Eagan suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. George and a passenger in her vehicle, 5-year-old Zaydon Murray, of Seligman, each suffered moderate injuries and were both transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.

All involved were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles were totaled.
