Intermediate students host program honoring veterans

Students from Cassville's Intermediate School give a performance Thursday at the FEMA building during a choreographed patriotic number at the school's annual patriotic program and production, while choir members in the background sing at the direction of Vocal Music Director Shelby Long. The event is held each year to honor local veterans for their service. During the event, veterans from each military branch were asked to stand and be recognized. Students and choir members from Cassville's Intermediate School sing a patriotic number at the direction of Vocal Music Director Shelby Long during the school's annual patriotic program. Intermediate Principal Eric White said the event is a great opportunity to teach intermediate-aged children the meaning of Veterans Day and foster an appreciation for veterans.
