Preliminary work starts on Corn Signs property

Cassville city utilities workers work on capping a sewer line at Corn Signs, Gary Corn's former family-owned and operated business for over 60 years, before the building is demolished. An exact date for demolition has not yet been announced. Mercy Hospitals, which acquired the business and property in September, plans to tear down the building and home adjacent to it to expand their parking lot.
