Darlene Tuter, 78, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015. She was born on Feb. 12, 1937. She was a long-time resident of Galena and Washburn, where she resided with her husband, Sonny Tuter.
She was born in Childress Texas, to Edford Walker and Thelma Christina Walker. Survivors include: her daughter, Vicky Shockley and her husband, Marvin, of Purdy; three grandchildren; six siblings; Lynda Walker, Jay Parker, Debra Ward, and Chris Parker, all of Spokane, Wash.; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Tuter, Jr.; and brother, Teddy Walker, of Idaho. She was united in marriage to Harold (Sonny) Tuter on May 1, 1957, in Las Vegas, Nev.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the White Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Jack Cain officiating.
