Beulah "Bea" Elizabeth Forgey Houk
Beulah "Bea" Elizabeth Forgey Houk died on Oct. 1, 2015, at Life Care Center of Sandpoint, Idaho. Born in 1914 to Charles Augustus and Nancy Adeline Mills in Benton County, Ark., she celebrated her 101st birthday on Sept. 16. She married Gene Forgey in 1934, and when they later divorced. She moved to Seattle, Wash., in 1963. In 1969, she married Frank Houk who passed away in 1983.
Survivors include: children, Bill Forgey, of Garfield, Ark., Linda Follett, of Coffeyville, Kan., and Vicki Johnson, of Sandpoint, Idaho; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters and her son, Bob Forgey, who passed away in Alaska in 2014.
She accepted Jesus as her Savior as a young girl and she "fought the fight, finished her course and kept the faith."
Graveside services were held Friday in Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, Ark. under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
