Vehicle ran off roadway, overturned on Business 37

Two Cassville teenagers suffered injuries Wednesday in a wreck at 8:45 p.m. on Business 37, one mile north of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Nathaniel Travis, 19, of Cassville, was diving a 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo westbound on Business 37 when his vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting Travis and a passenger, Michael Irving, 15, of Cassville.

Both suffered serious injuries in the wreck. Irving was airlifted to Cox South in Springfield, and Travis was transported by ambulance to Cox South.

Neither of the teenagers were wearing safety devices, and the vehicle was totaled.
