Mary E. Lowe

Mary E. Lowe, 76, of Cassville, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.

She was born Feb. 26, 1939, in Cassville, the daughter of Henry and Goldie (Daum) Ennis. On Jan. 26, 1957, she was united in marriage to Bud Lowe, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Mike Lowe and his wife, Carleen, of Exeter; two daughters, Diana Lyons and her husband, Les, of Cassville, and Karen Shuey and her husband, Dale, of Purdy; one brother, Rod Ennis, of St. Louis; three sisters, Barbara Warren and her husband, Charles, of Exeter, Carol Parscale and her husband, Zack, of Independence, and Terry Scofield and her husband, Tim, of Quinter, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents.

She grew up and received her education at Cassville and graduated from Exeter High School. She had been a school assistant to the principal at Cassville and then worked for the V.A. Office until it closed in Cassville. She then became a homemaker and did bookkeeping for her husband, Bud. She was a long-time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Lawrence Shuey and Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville.
