Ralph Stanley Conrad, Jr., 68, of Seligman, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at his home. He was born on June 23, 1947, in Norwood, Mass., to Ralph and Mildred (Nobles) Conrad. He attended Wilson Junior High and graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1965, in Tulsa, Okla. Following high school, he attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla.

In 1968, he was deployed to Vietnam where he served from May of 1968 to Dec. of 1969. On Jan. 30, 1970, he married Vicki Ruth Douglas in Tulsa, Okla. Together they raised two daughters, Michelle and Jennifer.

He was a master carpenter in Tulsa, Okla., for many years before going to Oklahoma State University, Physical Plant in Stillwater, Okla., where he was employed from 1984 to 2006. Following retirement in 2006, he and Vicki moved to Seligman.

Survivors include: his wife of 45 years, Vicki; daughter, Michelle Jardot and husband, Jason, of Ripley, Okla.; daughter, Jennifer Williams and husband, Orlando, of Stillwater, Okla.; six grandchildren; and one brother, Glen Conrad, of Broken Arrow, Okla. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Conrad.

A graveside service with military honors was held at Monday at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Okla.
